About Us
Located in Albia, Iowa (Southern Iowa), in Monroe County, just a few miles from where the World Record Lovestein Buck was shot, Trophy Buck Ridge, LLC offers a limited selection of hunts to serious hunters looking to hunt trophy whitetail deer and turkey. Our property is perfectly situated at the end of a dead-end road and is surrounded by private land owners. With no roads around Trophy Buck Ridge, the entire area is a hot spot for whitetail deer and turkey. We, along with adjoining landowners, practice Quality Deer Management. The farm consists of food plots, numerous stands (bow stands, gun stands and ground blinds). There are many acres of corn, soybean and hay fields that draw and keep trophy whitetail deer in the area.
In 2011, for the very first time, we will be offering a limited number of bow, muzzleloader, and shotgun (slug) hunts. One of the landowners has raised whitetail deer for 20 + years on a farm in Northern Iowa. His sons, the other two landowners, are very knowledgeable about the wildlife and terrain that you will be hunting. They have hunted the 260 acres for the past 10 + years, scouting deer habitat, monitoring trail camera photos and maintaining the stands. The owners haven’t allowed other family or friends to hunt the property in the past three years, so several areas of the property are untouched sanctuaries for bedding.
